Jai Parekh, MD, MBA, FAAO
Cataract & Glaucoma Surgeon & Cornea Specialist
Jai Parekh, MD, MBA, FAAO, is a board-certified anterior segment eye surgeon who completed his fellowship at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary of Mount Sinai. He serves as Chief of Cornea and External Diseases and Medical Director of the Research Institute at St. Joseph's Health System in New Jersey. Dr. Parekh is also a Clinical Associate Professor of Ophthalmology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, where he contributes to the Cornea Service at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary. As co-founder of EyeCare Consultants of NJ, he founded the Center for Ocular Surface Excellence of New Jersey (COSE-NJ) and the Center for Interventional Glaucoma (CIG-NJ), advancing care in ocular surface diseases and minimally invasive glaucoma surgery.
Payal Ramakrishnan, OD, FAAO

Dr. Payal Ramakrishnan is a board-certified optometrist and Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry who delivers exceptional, patient-centered eye care. She earned her undergraduate degree in Genetics from Rutgers University–New Brunswick in 2015 before completing her Doctorate of Optometry at Midwestern University's Arizona College of Optometry. Dr. Ramakrishnan maintains active membership in the American Optometric Association and blends her strong academic background with a heartfelt approach to helping patients achieve their best vision.

An alumna of the prestigious 7-year combined medical program at Boston University and New Jersey Medical School, she graduated with honors before completing her residency and chief year at Boston University School of Medicine, training at renowned institutions including Boston City Hospital, The Children's Hospital of Boston, and the Boston VA Medical Center.

He graduated cum laude from Harvard University in Neurobiology and earned a Master's in Translational Medicine from UC Berkeley, bringing a unique blend of clinical expertise and research innovation to retinal care. Dr. Arnett specializes in treating Macular Degeneration, Diabetic Retinopathy, PVD (Flashes & Floaters), and Retina & Vitreous Disease.
